The 10th Congressional District includes all of Clarke, Frederick, and Loudoun and the Independent Cities of Manassas, Manassas Park and Winchester, along with portions of Fairfax, and Prince William counties.
Jennifer Wexton – Democrat
Barbara Comstock – Republican
Nathan Larson – Independent
Jennifer Wexton has represented the 33rd district in the State Senate since 2014. The district includes northeastern Loudoun County and northwestern Fairfax County.
On her web site Jennifer says: America is a nation of immigrants and my family is among those who came here seeking freedom, safety, and opportunity. Rather than working together to find bipartisan policies that will improve our immigration system, the President and Congressional Republicans are promoting fear-mongering tactics, like raids and roundups, against immigrants. As State Senator, I have consistently voted against and spoken out against Republican attempts to stigmatize immigrants, including their anti-Sharia legislation, the so-called “sanctuary cities” bills, and legislation that would have required Virginia to track and report on the location of refugees who resettle here.
Jennifer believes Congress needs to pass comprehensive immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship for immigrant families, protects DREAMers and their futures, prioritizes the deportation of violent criminals over status offenders, shuts down inhumane private detention centers, and ensures money that this administration would spend on building a wall instead be spent on securing and modernizing our borders and defending national security.
Jennifer Wexton has your best interest at heart.
Barbara Comstock is the current congresswoman for the 10th district. From 2010 to 2014, she was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
Comstock’s voting record is a good indicator of her values. She has voted for 97.6% of the bills supported by Donald Trump.
She supported a bill to allow concealed-carry firearm permits valid across state lines so we could have people from states with few laws like Florida with concealed guns in our state. She voted for the big tax giveaway to the rich increasing the national debt and reducing Donald Trumps taxes from 37% to 25% (12 %) but our taxes by just a couple of percent. She voted to give the government more power to deport and deny admission to immigrants, and a bill penalizing states and localities that have “sanctuary” laws on immigration. She voted yes to deny Affordable Care Act health insurance subsidies from people until their citizenship is verified. She voted to repeal of the stream protection rule and other laws that protect our water and air. And she voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act and deny affordable health care to millions of people.
Nathan Larson is another example of the filth who now feel they are allowed to run for office because Donald Trump was elected. Larson is for legalizing incestuous marriage and child pornography, “We need to switch to a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands.” Larson called Nazi leader Adolf Hitler a “white supremacist hero,” and protecting “benevolent white supremacy.”
